TechTop 2010 kicks off @ Technopark

The fifth edition of the most sought after event by engineering students across the country: ‘TechTop 2010 – National Innovation Contest’ kick started from Technopark on July 30, 2010. Techtop today is considered the biggest technical project competition involving engineering colleges in India and is branded by engineering students as a platform to showcase their innovations and an opportunity to realize their entrepreneurial dreams.

TechTop was inaugurated  by  Shri. K.C Shashidhar, Chief General Manager, NABARD in the absence of  Hon’ble Minister for  Education and Culture, Shri M A Baby. The exhibition of the student projects is conducted at Park centre, Technopark

Sookshmatech enters Preincubation

Sookshmatech Integral Techno Solutions Pvt ltd is an IT services company, specializing in latest based technology to deliver quality output to automate business processes in the Travel and Tourism domain. Mr. Saju Balakrishnan and Mr.Pinaki are the directors of the company.

Market Opportunities in Denmark discussed

The fourth INSPIRE Session was held on July 22, 2010 at Cochin Hall, Park Centre, Technopark. The session discussed on the Market Opportunities in Denmark. Mr.Shanker Subramaniam, Senior Investment Manager, Danish Trade Commission was the speaker. The INSPIRE session was organised by the Group of Technology Companies (GTECH) and Technopark TBI. Mr.Mervin Alexander IPoS,CEO-Technopark,  Mr. KC. Chandrasekharan Nair, Secretary and Registrar, T-TBI, Mr.Syed Ibrahim, MD, Palnar Transmedia, Anoop P Ambika, Secretary ,GTECH & Managing Director, Kreara Solutions and Mr. Binu Sankar, CEO, GTECH were present during the session.

Mr.Shanker Subramaniam  made a presentation on market opportunities , Visas, Work and Residence Permits in Denmark. CEOs from the Emerging companies inside the Technopark campus held fruitful discussions with him on the various funding avenues available in Denmark.

E-learning portal for teaching entrepreneurship launced by CM

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri V S Achuthanandan launched Technopark Technology Business Incubation Centre’s latest offering – an e-learning network http://www.ttbi.smartguruji.com on July 8, 2010. The online platform is launched with the objective to deliver high-quality multi-sensory learning experience for budding entrepreneurs and incubatees and to enhance entrepreneurial talents in a much easier and professional way to all the incubatees operating from various locations in the country.

Technopark-TBI has launched this initiative through its training wing National Centre for Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship (NCIIE). NCIIE has tied up with SmartGuruji Learning Systems to facilitate the e-learning platform. Smartguruji is a holistic platform which provides state-of-the-art learning environment leveraging the advances in technology without losing the advantages of traditional methods of teaching to impart high-quality learning experience. Smartguruji offers the complete talent lifecycle ecosystem of assessment, skill enhancement and industry partnership for talent absorption.

Second BOG Meeting of T-TBI Held
