Singapore and Kerala to enhance cooperation in ICT for the benefit of SMEs

Group of Technology Companies (GTech) has taken up the initiative to establish global linkages for the IT Industry in the state to help the SMEs to scout for new business opportunities in Singapore. As part of the efforts, GTech held deliberations with the Government agencies like Economic Development Board, Singapore and organisations like Singapore Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation. GTech also used the opportunity to share the information on the Emerging Kerala event being organised in September. The arrangement will provide a unique opportunity for Kerala the IT companies to engage in strategic tie ups with the Singapore.

The delegation to Singapore was able to showcase to the Singaporean Business community the larger picture of Kerala growth Story outlined by the emergence of a vibrant IT Industry which is seeking a bigger role on the global stage. GTech team also held discussions with the Mr. S R Nathan, Former President, Singapore and he offered all his support for initiatives to strengthen Kerala- Singapore business relations.
