Job opportunities @ Technopark TBI

Technopark Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI), invites applications for the following posts (on contract):

1.Job Title: Asst. Manager (Business Development)

  •  Qualification – Graduation with MBA (first class full time MBA), Additional qualification in entrepreneurship development desirable.
  •  Experience – Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.                                      Experience in project proposal preparation, grant documentation, social and commercial entrepreneurship development and ability to coordinate with different stakeholders like (state and central government agencies , private sector, funding agencies etc. Exp. in facility management/customer relations desirable.
  •  Age – not to exceed 30 years as on 1/4/2015
  •  Salary– In the Scale of Pay of Rs. 13610-380-16650-450-20700.
  •  Duration – 5 year contract

2. Job Title: Asst. Manager (Civil) – Technology Innovation Zone, Kochi

 Qualification – First class Graduation in Civil Engineering. Additional qualification in engineering / project management is desirable.

 Experience – Minimum of 5 years post qualification experience.

  • Experience in managing small and medium sized construction projects.
  • Ability to coordinate and liaison with architects, consultants, engineering contractors, suppliers and government authorities.
  • Must be aware of the local industry standards and commercial practices in the entire lifecycle of the project (drafting the contracts / agreements through execution and operations of the projects).
  • Conversant with preparation of M-Book and other necessary statutory requirements.
  • Experience in construction of facilities like industrial parks etc desirable.

 Age – not to exceed 30 years as on 1/4/2015

 Salary– Rs. 50,000/- (Negotiable).

Duration – 3 year contract

3. Job Title: Accounts Officer

  •  Qualification – Graduation in B.Com
  •  Experience – Minimum 10 years experience at a level not less than the scale of Section Officer in government of Kerala or equivalent positions in PSUs /similar societies and experience in handling accounts in similar societies or government agencies/departments.
  •  Age – Not to exceed 60 years as on 1/4/2015
  •  Salary – 30000/- consolidated
  •  Duration – 1 year

4.Job Title: Secretary & Registrar

 Qualification – Graduation

Experience – Minimum 10 years experience at a level not less than the scale of Section Officer in government of Kerala or equivalent positions in PSUs /similar societies and Administrative experience in similar societies or government agencies /departments

 Age – not to exceed 60 years as on 1/4/2015

 Salary – 30000/- consolidated

 Duration – 1 year contract

Learn to code: Raspberry Pi faculty training sessions to begin from today across Kerala.

As part of the learn to code programme of Government of Kerala, the 42 master trainers of IT@School will begin the training of faculties across Kerala from today. Learn to code is a programme by the Government of Kerala for promoting innovation among school children. The programme is implemented by   Technopark Technology Business Incubator in association with IT@School and Startup Village.

The master trainers of IT@School will impart training to faculties on Raspberry Pi through a 3 day hands on workshop to be held at district resource centers of IT@School which is scheduled to begin today.

The trained faculties will impart training to 2500 students across the state who have won the Raspberry Pi Kits. The kids training programme is scheduled to be held from April 27th to May 8th.

Apart from the hands on training programme, a training video has also been created for the students and faculties in 3 episodes. The final episode of the training session to be aired today at 8:00 am and 8:30pm in the VICTERS channel. These episodes will be repeated in the coming weeks as well.

The faculties are also provided with an online support platform for posting their queries and for clarifying the doubts.

Earlier the master trainers were given two 2 days hands on workshop in the Regional Resource Center, Ernakulam.

Ideathon 2015: Startup Challenge

Technopark Technology Business Incubator (T-TBI) and Ernst & Young (E&Y) is jointly organising IDEATHON 2015: STARTUP CHALLENGE. an exclusively event for Startps from 17th -19th  of April 2015 at the Innovation Centre in KINFRA Park, Trivandrum.

The objective of the event is to foster the spirit of innovation and accelerating technology solutions for business problems of tomorrow. This would be a unique platform to bring together highly motivated and tech savvy start ups to contribute and develop solutions to address business challenges and also to support entrepreneurs to accelerate their growth with the objective of giving a boost to the Kerala economy.

The event is Open to start up companies who have been in incubated in Kerala for more than a year.

Only 15 startups will be considered for the event. This  will be decided based on the application form submitted.
